贝卡尔特上世纪90年代进入中国市场并建立生产基地。作为最早来华投资，也是最著名的比利时公司之一，贝卡尔特始终坚信中国在全球市场上的战略地位，积极助力和推动中国产业的发展，与中国共同成长。近年来，贝卡尔特在中国的业务，尤其是子午线轮胎加固用钢帘线产品业务，取得了长足发展。过去十年，贝卡尔特中国区净销售额年平均增长率超过30%。
Bekaert establishes its presence with a manufacturing platform in China since the early nineties. As one of the first and most important Belgian investors to believe in China’s market as a world player, Bekaert has experienced significant growth in China in the recent years in almost all of its business platforms, and in particular, in its steel cord products for tire reinforcement. The annual average net sales growth in China is over 30% over the last decade.
贝卡尔特在中国的累积投资额已逾10亿美金，目前在中国的8个城市拥有17家合资或独资公司，其中包括：生产工厂、研发中心（贝卡尔特全球两大研发中心之一）、技术中心，贸易公司以及亚洲区总部。遍布全国的生产、销售网络能够迅速而高效地满足客户和市场需求，提供拥有全球品质的本地化个性服务。
With over 1 billion US dollar accumulated investment, Bekaert operates 17 sites at 8 locations, including manufacturing plants, an R&D center (one of the only two worldwide), an engineering plant, a trading company and the Asia Regional Headquarters. All of these operations are geographically positioned so that Bekaert can respond swiftly to local customer demands, but apply globally the same high quality standards.

At present, more than 10,000 people are working for Bekaert in China.
