- Mission Statement:
- Lead and manage Lead Business Area China finance organization in line with Group standards and best practices. Strongly support Country Holding Officer roles & responsibilities, i.e., carrying out the fidu-ciary duties, representing ABB externally and internally and leading & coordinating projects, initiatives and tasks in China.

- Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- 1.Budget and planning: Coordinates preparation and enforces the Lead Business Area China budget. Guides, motivates, develops and set targets for the Lead Business Area China finance staff.
- 2.Fiduciary duties: Strongly supports Country Holding Officer in carrying out the fiduciary duties, no-tably driving and enhancing compliance with local legislation and regulatory requirements across vari-ous functional areas – with particular focus on but not limited to the area of Finance. Focus of the CHO role is to establish and maintain an operating environment in which applicable local legislation and regulatory requirements are duly met, based on solid governance, robust processes and operating ac-cording to the ABB Way. In supporting the CHO role, Finance Manager promotes proper governance and collaboration.
- 3.Representing ABB externally and internally: Provides strong support to Country Holding Officer for both external and internal representation tasks, e.g., by organizing structures and content for key in-ternal fiduciary, collaboration and simplification CoPs (Communities of Practice) and liaising with key stakeholders, as well as providing valuable content input for external representation (e.g., external auditors, chambers of commerce, third-party expert panels etc.).
- 4.Leading & coordinating projects, initiatives and tasks: Provides project management expertise and support to key ABB projects, initiatives and tasks assigned to the Country Holding Officer organization. Ensures that such projects, initiatives and tasks are handled with high standards, in a professional manner and with a mindset of reducing barriers to execution, achieving simplification and generating continuous improvements.
- 5.Internal control: Acts as control owner or performer for several country-level internal controls and ensures adequacy of the related control environment.
- 6.People leadership and development: Leads and supervises Lead Business Area China professionals. Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- 1.Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting & Economy, ACCA/CPA, MBA is preferred.
- 2.Over 15 years’ Finance Manager or Business Controller experience in multi-national companies. Experience in Corp Finance, Finance Operation and Internal Control is required. Business Controlling experience is an advantage.
- 3.Strong leadership, business acumen, strategic thinking and influencing skills across business and functions.
- 4.Strong business partnering and capability to drive changes with an open and positive mindset.
