Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen, China
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supplier audit and qualification: Plan and organize supplier process audit for existing suppliers, work with sourcing & product engineering departments for the new supplier qualification and low performance supplier’s de-sourcing.
- Supplier quality performance monitoring: supplier quality data collection (ppm, SPC, audit finding, etc) and analysis to address low performance suppliers for improvement. Support PQE for critical quality issue resolution.
- Supplier quality risk control: Supplier key process and key raw material quality control to mitigate quality risk including new critical suppliers and newly localized critical components.
- Supplier quality process management: Introduce IT tools to suppliers for quality process management, 5M1E change management, Traceability, Major quality processes optimization
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree or above, electrical, mechanical or electronic engineering is preferred
- At least 5 years’ working experiences as supplier quality management
- Quality tools knowledge and application skills PPAP, SPC, FMEA , MSA, 5 Why
- Familiar with stamping, machining, PCBA manufacturing and assembly process, quality requirements, test specification and failure analysis
- Very good personnel communication skills, both with internal and external
- Very good logic thinking, problem-solving & collaborating skills
- Good English
