IS Application Business Owner
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the entire application lifecycle including design, strategy, and execution. Each day, you will ensure the application works reliably, serves its users, and remains fit for purpose for supported business processes to deliver value to the organization. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring application security and compliance, in line with external and internal regulations.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Shanghai site in Shanghai. Main stakeholders are Motion Shanghai site business department.
You will be mainly accountable for:
● Performing and ensuring business impact analysis to identify the business criticality of the application and ensuring relevant service continuity.
● Securing resources for application development, run, and maintenance, including the availability of budget and people.
● Managing performance, adoption, and continuous improvement of the application.
● Chairing the application governance board on a regular basis to review and agree on operations, costs, and strategy with key stakeholders’ representatives.
Qualifications for the role
● You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in / you enjoy working with Agile development methodologies, business requirement analysis, application lifecycle management (ALM), and cross-functional collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and the enterprise digital transformation and business application systems market.
● Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 3+ years of experience in software development, system analysis, or enterprise business application implementation.
● Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in enterprise application architectures, software development lifecycle practices, and common programming technology stacks.
● You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around business process optimization and cross-functional stakeholder communication and collaboration.
● Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
● You are at ease communicating in Chinese and English.
● You hold current (Not applicable / No specific professional license required) valid in the job location and legal work authorization / work permit where required.
