Responsibilities:
• Develop OTA technical solutions compliant with industry standards, covering flashing strategies, security mechanisms, and recovery plans for upgrade failures
• Lead root cause analysis for upgrade failures, develop recovery strategies to minimize customer impact
• Provide OTA technical support, including professional interpretation of flashing processes, UDS/CAN protocols, cybersecurity, etc.
• Conduct defects management in defect management system to track technical issues during upgrades.
• Conduct on-site guidance for vehicle flashing in workshops, resolving practical issues such as hardware connection and software adaptation in mass-production environments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master degree in Vehicle Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields
• 5+ years of vehicle OTA experience, with at least 2 full-lifecycle project execution.
• Expertise in OTA test strategies and key test focus areas
• Strong technical clarification skills with deep understanding of OTA principles
• Familiar with OTA technical requirement documentation, automotive EE architecture and ECU/TCU/VCU flashing characteristics
• Strong capability of driving on-time delivery of complex programs which contains planning, regular management, identify dependencies/potential risk, solve conflicts
• Experienced with establishing strong partnerships across teams/department
• Excellent verbal & written English capability (German is a plus)
Special skills as plus
• Experience in OTA project implementation for major foreign automakers (e.g. , Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Toyota, GM) is preferred
• Experience of vehicle flashing in workshops is preferred
• German capability is a plus
