连接器设计工程师

POSITION SUMMARY:
- To learn customer requirement, development, product extension & design new product, Project transfer cooperation.
- Coordinate & response to new product design, product sustaining and project transfer
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED :
- New product cost analysis, feasibility study, and concept design.
- Detailed product design and product development follow with PACE procedure and engineering regulation.
- Existing product modification, extension for new part number.
- Provide the technical support for customer.
- Responsible for ECR, ECN.
- Responsible for customer’s new sample requirement.
- Assist QA for quality issue solving and customer’s application troubleshooting.
- Be product engineer role in product transfer team.
- Follow the AFCI EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Policy and system.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical engineering or related
- Above5 years work experience on connector design and manufacturing experience
- Good command English include oral and writing, skill of AutoCAD, Creo and MS-office
- 2 years experience on automotive product design and skillful in using relative analysis tools (APQP / PPAP / FMEA / SPC / MSA / DOE…)
- Have the knowledge about molding / stamping and assembly process.
- Can design new CTW ( crimping to wire terminal) independently.
- Be familiar with WtB connector which is automotive application, especially in new energy automotive, such as BMS ( battery manager system) , lighting…
- Be familiar with USCAR-2 criteria and have experience on USCAR-12 .
- Be familiar with EWCAP definition of pin and can design the terminal within the spec.
- Be familiar with LV214 requirement.
- Be familiar with ISO14001, IATF16969 system etc…
