Senior Mechanical Engineer(design/structure)

Task & Responsibilities:
Provide input based on own work experience related to development and improvement of methods and technologies – Contribute to discipline standards, and effective and efficient engineering processes.
Create engineering deliverables according engineering process and discipline standards and checking the output of peer engineers – Engineering deliverables are realized with right quality within time and budget to (internal) client satisfaction.
Support in case of questions about the engineering deliverables. Assist the commissioning, testing and service process, by facilitating and monitoring these processes, in accordance with the relevant procedures and quality control standards – The engineering deliverables are supported during the whole project.
Monitor the quality of the designed product within the project in accordance with project requirements. Report about status, open actions and finishing dates. Delivering required documents on time. – Completion of project in accordance with requirements on schedule.
Discuss projects and challenge technical decisions with colleagues in accordance with the internal procedures. Develop in depth knowledge of the production phase to improve the quality of the output. Give feedback on process, standards, work instructions for improvement of those. – Contribute to transfer of knowledge and ensure efficient cooperation within own discipline and together with other disciplines.
Regularly analyze all output on quality, scope, time, budget and client satisfaction, together with the discipline lead engineer. – Corrective actions are determined and executed. Personal development areas are determined.
Knowledge & Experience:
Focus of activities: Develops designs from early design phase. Has good knowledge of assembly and production methods, installations, commissioning and a broader view over all engineering disciplines.
Complexity of tasks: Draws up detailed designs, basic designs and system designs. Very complex designs.
Quality controls: Equal to mechanical engineer and requires approval of own results according to the authorization matrix.
Autonomy: Equal to mechanical engineer and requires approval of own results according to the authorization matrix.
Requirements
1. Education & Experience: Master level with minimum 5 years' experience , bachelor level with minimal 7 years’ experience in engineering.
3. Based on vocational level with minimum 10 years' experience in engineering
4. Basic knowledge of the discipline standards.
5. Language: Able to communicate (oral and in writing) in Mandarin and English.
6. Computer: Skilled in Auto CAD, Inventor (or other 3D CAD system) and Microsoft Office.
7. Others: Principled, responsible, accurate, self-educated, positive, good team player.
