Senior firmware designer is responsible for project firmware design activities management for industrial products such as PLC, PAC, Motion controller etc.
He/She is supposed to lead several associates to fulfill the project tasks and to be the interface with peer functional teams, And He/She also join part of a new product project and/or product design evolution, takes responsibility for management of dedicated project technical team and technology
· Assumes responsibility for management of the project design team, in terms of workload, expenses and planning, in collaboration with resource managers
· Produces the product / technical specifications considering project team inputs (especially marketing), to fulfill the customer requirements
· Produces the technical definition of the product / solution, integrating re-usable core functional blocks
· Guarantees product / solution performance and robustness, through simulation, prototypes and testing
· Is accountable for engineering quality and contributes to cost targets, in accordance with project objectives and decisions made
· Prepares manufacturing with Industrialization / manufacturing implementation teams
Qualifications - External
Compulsory Requirement:
§ Good Written and Spoken English
§ More than 5 years firmware design and debug experience.
§ Proficient in C/C++ and SCM tool(Git ...).
§ Embeded OS: Linux Yocto
§ Experienced with Motion control algorithm implememention and Motion application.
§ Design experience with Industry Protocol like EtherCat, Sercos, CANOPEN, Ethernet/IP, etc
§ Team spirit, collaborative, good communication skills, result oriented.
§ Familiar with PLCopen motion control stardard.
