Job Description:•Responsible for the design of the mechanical parts of CT Systems•Responsible for defining and executing validation plan•Responsible for the qualification of his own design parts, as well as the quality integration of these subassemblies into complete CT system•Along with sourcing counterpart, he/she will work with suppliers to get the parts in house before validation / production•He/She is also responsible for the cost of his design in production Tools/Technologies•Creo, Ansys, Windchill, etc.•Strong mechanical parts/assembly design skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills•Expertise in design for reliability, design for manufacturing is an advantage.•Industry examples: big medical equipment design, machine tools, robotics, automotive, aeronautics… Required Qualifications•BS in Mechanical Engineering or above•At least 3 years experience in mechanical design.
