What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
● Build, manage, and install database management systems using technical expertise.
● Utilize data mapping, mining, and transformation to develop robust databases.
● Optimize data storage, prepare system requirements, and design database implementations.
● Contribute to moderately complex projects and manage time to meet targets.
● Evaluate, implement, and manage global Cloud solutions, collaborating with the GBI Platform team and engaging with stakeholders to capture and translate requirements into approved projects.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
● BA/BS with 5+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
● Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and BI/Analytics technologies
● Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts, Analytics, Extract, Transform and Load Databases
● Experience in Visualization tools and technical solution management tools
● Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
● Excellent verbal and communication skills
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Apply Information Technology capabilities and expertise including information management competencies, analytic, query, aggregation and data science tools to solve data analysis and business problems identified by scientists, researchers, clinicians or other biomedical business professionals.
● Lead data solution projects to ensure China commercial data solution delivery to enable analytics teams and report solutions, including big data, Data Lake, Distributor management system, Advanced Analytic platforms within agreed budget, quality and schedule goals to meet business /digital objectives
● Monitor, analyze and communicate data quality, identify gaps, and make recommendations to improve data quality
● Engage with business partners on tactical execution; serve as a key point of contact to functional partners, providing appropriate guidance on topics relating to data and processes
● Experience managing data related to direct vendors, indirect vendors, affiliates, and/or third parties
● Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance requirements (e.g., GXP, SOX)
● hands-on skill and experience in following technology: AWS Cloud, Data Warehouse , Data Lake ETL , Python , Redshift
● Knowledge and enthusiasm in AI technology
● Demonstrated experience in working in a global matrix organization
● Proven ability to build coalitions and develop strong partnerships across functions
● Strong interpersonal skills
● Strong program management skills
● Must have proven ability to manage communication as a vehicle to ensure alignment of strategies and day-to-day operations to team members and business unit partners in support of China commercial digital products, services and experiences.
● Deep understanding Data relative technology and delivery methodologies
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
● Experience in Master Data Management
● Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages
● Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based analytics solutions
● Experience with data governance and data quality management

● PMP Certification
