Quality Manager

General Objective
The Head of Quality is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the production plant quality system and foremost ensures that all parts produced are within the accepted requirements.
Full responsibilities for external as well as internal quality goals set by the management and implements all necessary quality tools and processes necessarily.
The Quality Manager personally implements and ensures a holistic continuous improvement of the economic efficiency, quality and performance of the plant (CIP). This also includes the establishment of a target-orientated management control system throughout his department.
The Quality Manager develops, nurtures and retains a high performing quality team that understands quality is not a job of the production, but a game of personal involvement on the shop floor from process planning until final production.

General responsibilities:

- Setup the quality strategy in plant as well as the quality Org Chart.
- Selects, trains, nurtures and develops all staff. Has an active qualification system to ensure QEs are highly professional, knowledgeable and have the right motivation to steer and improve all Quality targets in plant together with Production & Engineering department
- Ensures all quality equipment’s are properly managed, maintained, and always ready for work
- Manages actively involved himself quality problems (internal & external), while employing all tools to his full disposal and sets up Q-Circles and cooperate with other departments among organization to continuously improve quality KPIs.
- Designs training programs and test for productive employee quality training according qualification matrix requirements
- Ensure that companies quality problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Responsible to develop key personnel in technical functions and ensures they achieve highest professionalism through nurture, educating and training
- Develop and manage annual budget for the quality departments
- Leads optimization projects for production for PPM, Scrap, Rework and other critical Quality Goals

Authority and report:
The Head of Quality is superior to all other employees in the plant quality department and reports to the Technical Leader.

Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Strong acumen and hands-on experience in Quality department of a production company
- Motivated, steadfast leader that is able to manage, control but also build bridges with all other departments
- Passionate about building world class quality teams and has proven track records about similar tasks
- Willing to work with related positions in other production plants in the region as well as China management team to further streamline and improve all technical processes
- Not the typical we put a 100% sorting at EOL and my job is done approach. A person that fully understands quality is the first task in the first link of the production chain.
- Strong personality with good leadership skills
- Fluency in Chinese and English
