Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer (Current Sensor)

Job Summary:
MPS is seeking a self-motivated and creative individual to define and drive the development of new current sensor systems built around IC chips. This position
requires a deep understanding of current sensing techniques and market. It consists in understanding the need from the market and propose new sensor concept to fulfill this need in a cost-efficient matter.
Functions:
• Define current sensor new products and write target specifications.
• Closely follow applications and trend of the current sensor market
• Co-work with sales/FAE team to support key customers and collect their requirements
• Draft document on solution selling, competitive analysis, value proposition.
• Involve in whole product development cycle, and coordinate resource to meet goal.
• Model or participate with modelling engineer to the development of the product and calculate performances and cost.
• Work on a packaging concept with MPS package experts.
• Collect data from characterization and production test to write datasheets and other market documents, engage with demos, etc.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or physics with a minimum of 8 years in marketing, or application engineering experience in analog semiconductor companies
• Extensive knowledge of the current sensors application requirements and architectures.
• Knowledge of magnetic current sensors technology.
• Experienced in current sensors design is a plus.
• Knowledge of package technology used in semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive and industrial market preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
Requirements: 20% travel time required (Worldwide)
