1. Coordinate discipline engineering to support yard fabrication.

2. Understand the full scope of work, contract type and milestone schedules.

3. Co-ordinate requirements for construction engineering and technical support with the engineering and design and layout teams and the MCS group from design stage to work pack compilation and execution.

4. Take part in design and constructability reviews to ensure adequate planning, material identification and input at design stage through to hook up.

5. Solve problems and initiate site queries to ensure fabrication productivity.

6. Co-ordinate material issue including material requisition, report fabrication progress and issue notices for critical actions.

7. Review scope changes, additional works or reworks and initiate revision orders / change orders, and register into DTCMS.

8. Review project scope of work and Task Listing, schedules, specifications and understand the requirements and deliverables.

9. At project commencement review the fabrication schedule, suggest corrections to the planning team.

10. Review design model / drawings for constructability and identify any special items / subcontract requirements.

11. Raises site queries to implement revisions to assist build sequencing and improve productivity.

12. Review vendor data for interdisciplinary interfaces as required.

13. Monitor work pack issue and advises priorities to the lead designer and discipline manager based on material availability and scheduled deliveries etc.

14. Provide assistance to MCS group in the requirements for material top up orders and miscellaneous requirements.

15. Raise Site Queries to utilise available material (substitutions) or deviations as required.

16. Prepare and issues activity notice to the client / all concerned people.

17. Report weekly fabrication progress and monitors production man-hours and productivity.

18. Review 4 week look ahead plans and identify the constraints (material / drawings )

19. Develop and Co-ordinate with construction engineer to ensure procedures are issued timely / all parties understand any change.

20. Co-ordinate and support construction supervisor to manage sub-contractors if any.

21. Preparation of punch lists, and closure tracking

22. Red line mark up and signing of as-built fabrication drawings.

23. Besides the above-listed, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by department manager or the company.
