主要职责
The successful candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive review and daily oversight of active project plumbing operations, including:

• Plan Reviews for Technical Accuracy: Critically examine current product plumbing designs, P&ID diagrams, material specifications, and pipe sizing prior to installation to ensure compliance with relevant US/Canadian plumbing and building codes (e.g., UPC, IPC, NPC) and best practices.

• Process Mapping: Review and revise the current workflow for modular plumbing installation, inspection, and pressure/leak testing.

• Suggest improvements or efficiencies where necessary, focusing on speed, leak prevention, and consistency.

• Techniques & Equipment: Evaluate existing tools, testing equipment, and worker techniques in use for pipe cutting, joining, soldering, solvent welding, and hydrostatic/pneumatic testing.

• Recommend specific upgrades, additions, training, or modifications to improve process efficiency and consistency.

• Training and Mentorship: Lead hands-on and classroom training sessions for the plumbing teams on code requirements, best practice installation techniques for materials like PEX, PVC, Copper, and ABS, safety protocols, and quality standards.

3. Quality Assurance & Standards Development 3. 质量保证与标准制定

• Quality Control (QC) Program: Review and enhance the current QC Inspection and Testing Plans, project quality criteria, and plumbing quality control documentation processes.

• This must include rough-in inspection, pressure testing (water and air), and final system sign-offs.

• Defect Root Cause Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot common plumbing defects such as leaking joints, inadequate slope/venting, or material incompatibility and develop preventative measures or appropriate repair/rework procedures.

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop clear, visual, and concise SOPs for all critical steps in plumbing installation, testing, and quality control where these SOPs don’t already exist in the company system.

Qualifications
资格要求

• Nationality/Residency: Chinese.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial or residential plumbing systems, with a focus on new construction or industrial facility systems management.
  
• 经验： 至少 3 年商业或住宅管道系统的实践经验，重点是新建或工业设施系统管理。
  
• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Deep knowledge of governing US/Canadian plumbing codes (e.g., UPC, IPC, NPC) and their implementation during factory installation and pre-site readiness.

  • Journeyman or Master Plumber License or equivalent recognized professional certification in a North American or Western European jurisdiction is highly sought after.
