QM and H&S Specialist

ain Objectives / Area of Impact / Influence on Business and Organisation:
Ensure the quality of locally produced goods to guarantee customer satisfaction and company success. Ensure the health and safety of all employees on site.
Main Position Tasks:
1. Implement and maintain quality and safety management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 requirements. Coordinate all necessary tasks to obtain and maintain required product certifications and successfully pass audits.
2. Analyze quality and production issues. Initiate and ensure the implementation of corrective and sustainable actions to resolve problems.
3.Continuously maintain product quality by implementing centrally defined guidelines and processes. Define and implement additional quality assurance measures as needed.
3. Maintain Health & Safety (H&S) documentation and ensure compliance with local laws and standards. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections.
4. Support risk assessment for locally produced products during development using quality methods. Release new, changed, or transferred products, including necessary checks and testing. Support the establishment and implementation of certification and laboratory infrastructure and processes as required.
5. Develop and enforce site-specific Health & Safety (H&S) policies and procedures.
6. Liaise with local authorities and external auditors as required. Lead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
7. Deliver safety training, induction programs, and toolbox talks. Promote employee engagement in safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Technician or equivalent technical training, ideally with a quality focus (e.g., industrial engineering or scientific studies with a quality focus). Certification as a Quality and Health & Safety Manager (e.g., DGQ, TÜV, or equivalent) is a plus. Additional knowledge of electronic product manufacturing processes is highly beneficial.
Type and Length of Necessary Job Experience:
5 -7 years of professional experience in quality, along with several years of leadership experience. Certification in occupational health and safety is an advantage.

Mandarin and English.
