Description
The role, within the Bitron Electronics Cost Engineering Department – International Purchasing Office (Shenzhen), will have the following main responsibilities:
• Support electronic component selection from Chinese market, perform benchmark, technical analysis and alternative design
• Analyze existing products in mass production and perform re-engineering with the purpose of cost-reduction and source localization
• Analyze Electronics Bill of Materials provided by the customer for quotation to propose local alternatives and achieve cost reduction
• Interface with Headquarter (Italy) R&D and cost Engineering team to facilitate communication with local suppliers.
• Responsible to design (or redesign) PCBAs or part of them in terms of component selection and schematic.
• Responsible for solving the product design issues in the design, production and certification phases;
• Support embedded software engineers for communication with supplier, basic functional and performance debugging;
Education and skills
• Bachelor degree or above, more than 5 years of hardware design experience;
• Familiar with Product development process and hardware circuit development, able to be independently responsible for the development of new projects;
• Familiar with the MCU peripheral circuit design and software, power supply, display, sensors, BLDC motor drive, touch sensors;
• Familiar with the use of design and DFM software; preferred experience with Cadence ORCAD and CAM350
• Competent and independent in the usage of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter, MCU programmer
• With good communication skills, teamwork, calm character, willing to share, love technology research and development work;
• Fluent English communication skills is must.
