Quality & Expediting Engineer

Responsibility:
1.Establish and maintain quality inspection procedures, train suppliers on quality criteria and testing methods.
2.Inspect equipment and collaborate with suppliers to optimize fabrication process, ensuring compliance with standards and quality requirements.
3.Oversee production processes to ensure compliance with project timelines.
4.Conduct technical audits on production operations, identify process inefficiencies and propose optimization solutions to enhance the productivity.
5.Monitor supplier quality and progress, conduct supplier audits and drive quality and progress improvement initiatives.
6.Participate in new product development, providing quality technical support for process validation and prototype testing.
Requirement:
1.Bachelor's degree or above in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related majors.
2.At least 5 years of inspection experience in metallurgical industry (steel, non-ferrous metals, etc.), proficient in drawings (steel structure) reading, raw material inspection, welding inspection, heat treatment process, semi-finished/finished product quality testing, assembly checks and defect analysis.
3.Mastery of metallurgical testing standards (GB,ISO, ASTM, etc.) and skilled operation of testing device/instrument (weld gauge, ultrasonic flaw detection device, hardness tester, roughness tester, etc).
4.Familiar with quality management systems (ISO9001), international welding quality management system (ISO 3834),statutory certification (EN1090, etc)
5.Have knowledge of manufacturing processes, coordinate with cross-functional division (Procurement, Project, Client)to track the progress, resolve bottlenecks, and expedite the pending deliveries.
6.Experience in formulating inspection plans, quality records, progress report and report analysis.
7.Strong problem-solving ability, good communication and coordination skills, and ability to work under pressure.
8.Fluent in written and spoken English; holding professional certificates (Metallurgical Inspector Certificate, NDT Level II, etc.) is preferred.
9.Proficient in Microsoft Office software (outlook, excel, word, etc)
