Finance NetSuite Analyst.

Finance Configuration Support (30%)

·Assist in implementing the global chart of accounts and financial segment structure for multi-country /multi-products operations

·Document account mapping between legacy systems and NetSuite

·Support the documentation and setting up of consolidation rules + inter-company structures

·Participate in system design sessions as finance team representative

·Document finance requirements and functional specifications

Data Validation & Testing (30%)

·Review and validate financial data from various entities for migration readiness

·Perform data quality checks and identify cleansing requirements

·Support opening balance validation and reconciliation

·Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from finance perspective

·Document test scenarios and track resolution of identified issues

Process Documentation & Standardization (25%)

·Document standardized financial processes for the new system

·Create process flow diagrams for key financial cycles

·Develop desktop procedures and work instructions

·Support the definition of approval workflows and authorization matrices

·Maintain project documentation repository for finance workstream

Project Support & Coordination (15%)

·Coordinate with implementation consultants on finance requirements

·Track finance workstream deliverables and milestones

·Prepare status updates for the Group Finance Controller

·Support training material development for finance end-users

·Assist in cutover planning and go-live activities.

Requirements Qualifications

·Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

·Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred but not essential

·NetSuite experience or certification advantageous

Technical Skills:

·Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles

·Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and validation

·Understanding of system integration concepts and data flows

·Knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements

·Ability to read and understand technical documentation

Project Skills:

·Documentation and process mapping abilities

·Basic project management and task coordination

·Requirements gathering and analysis

·Testing and quality assurance mindset

·Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously

Experience

Essential:

·4-6 years of finance experience with exposure to financial systems

·At least 1 full ERP implementation project involvement

·Experience with multi-entity financial reporting

·Strong understanding of financial processes and controls

·Shipping/ Logistics experience

Preferred:

·Oracle NetSuite experience

·Experience in group consolidations and reporting

·Project-based or consulting experience

·Logistics, shipping, or supply chain industry exposure

·Multi-entity or shared service center experience

·Exposure to system implementations in multi-country environment

Finance Knowledge:

·Strong accounting principles and financial controls

·Multi-entity consolidation and elimination entries

·Revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15) especially for logistics services

·Cost accounting and allocation methodologies

·Multi-currency transaction processing

·Intercompany accounting and reconciliations

Industry Knowledge:

·Understanding of shipping and logistics operations

·Familiarity with freight billing and rating structures

·Knowledge of port charges, demurrage, and detention concepts

·Understanding of agent commission structures Behaviors

·Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

·Proactive in identifying and escalating risks or issues

Project Scope: NetSuite implementation across all business units

Functional Coverage: All finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and Consolidations

Geographic Coverage: Multiple countries, currencies, and tax jurisdictions

Duration: Full project lifecycle from design through post-implementation support
