QC Engineer 质量控制工程师

Responsibilities:
-Responsible to organize and perform quality control activities, including but not limited to, the workshops inspections at Suppliers during fabrication, and/or the quality monitoring and supervision at the jobsite during installation, maintenance, or repair period of the plants.
-Represent and implement the project's requirements for quality;
-Organize the Pre-inspection meeting, explain project's specification details to Suppliers &. Contractors prior start of fabrication and/or installation;
-Review documentation (ITP, WPS, PQR, NDE procedures, …) submitted by Suppliers or Contractors;
-Coordinate the Third Party Inspector’s inspection activities when a TPI is used;
-Inspect fabrication & installation work onsite and ensure that quality is within project's specifications;
-Monitor the Contractors performance in respect of quality & safety during installation, maintenance or repair onsite;
-Report to QAQC Manager in case of deviations and non-conformance from specification; Release NCR and supervise contractors to take corrective measures and follow up the corrective actions;
-Coordinate with responsible Authorities for pressure vessel &. pressure piping;
-Participate in prequalification and coordinate with Company’s auditor for new Suppliers or Contractors;
-Weekly/Monthly report for Quality Issues to QAQC Manager.
Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Welding or Mechanical
-International Welding Engineer (IWE) or CWI certificate would be appreciated
-NDE level II or above certificates for various NDE methods would be appreciated
-Experience in international projects in China in respect to quality control would be helpful
-5+ years of QC inspection experience in the Chemical industry
-Knowledge of Chinese Codes & Standards in respect to pressure vessel & pressure piping is required
-Knowledge of ASME and/or European standards would be helpful
-Familiar with Mechanical inspection and testing methods
-Good communication skills at all levels within an organization
-Shall be pro-active and open for continuous improvement
-Shall be able to communicate in English
