Principal Responsibilities:
• Perform automation script development
• Carry out automation / functional testing in accordance with test plan. Functional / Automation testing activities include test conditions & cases design, test data preparation, test execution, result verification and documentation, incident analysis and fixing, status reporting, etc.
• Perform supervision of other team members on testing activities, including task planning and deliverable review.
• Join progress update meeting and provide update of the test progress
• Upload test evidences to test / defect management tool
• Able to make suggestions of testing process improvement wherever found appropriate in improving overall productivity and efficiency.
• Train the testing team with plan to gear up productivity and effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
• 4 to 10 years' experience in software testing, experience in automation testing is preferred
• Familiar with 1 to 2 programming language
• Knowledge in Linux commands, Eclipse, Selenium an advantage
• Experiences in large scale banking systems an advantage
• Experiences in Linux commands and SQL an advantage
• Understand Data Transmission Protocol, Structure Data and Linux command applications is a plus
• Test management experience is a plus
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good reading and written English highly desirable
• Good Cantonese highly desirable
