Manager, Category Sourcing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Category Strategy Development and Implementation
Identify opportunities to optimize cost and increase perceived value to improve gross margin.
Develop Category Sourcing Strategy as a guideline of cross functions to work out their strategy and priorities.
Lead or coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers to well implement strategy.

2. Process Excellence & Relationship Management
Optimize sourcing process to standardize and improve ways of working internally & externally.
To perfect Supplier Relationship Management in company level per definition of Sourcing Strategy.

3. Open Innovation & Supply Market Intelligence
Dig out internal business needs and leverage suppliers’ innovation capability per sourcing strategy.
Close to supply market and bring supply market & industry intelligence to support business growth.

4. Supplier & Risk Management
Assess supplier performance and take effective actions to improve by leverage support from cross functional teams.
Continually develop supplier base in other countries and draft Category Sourcing Strategy accordingly for implementation.
Minimum request:
Ÿ Bachelor’s degree; MBA or EMBA is a plus.
Ÿ English level: excellent

Competency:
Ÿ 7+ years of strategic sourcing or commodity management experience in FMCG, Cosmetics industrials in MNC.
Ÿ Experienced to develop Category Sourcing Strategy.
Ÿ Good capability to manage complexity and solve problem.
Ÿ With experience to develop or manage oversea supplier base is a plus.

Relevant knowledge demand:
Ÿ Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and influence skills with suppliers.
Ÿ With technical knowledge of packaging material & OEM/ODM is a plus.
