Molecular Biology Technician specialising in pathology

A position is available for a highly skilled Molecular Biology Technician specialising in pathology techniques. We wish to identify fundamental cellular and molecular principles of tissue/organ regeneration, and develop a knowledge basis for therapeutic strategies in clinical use.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing pathological specimens for analysis. This includes handling specimen collection, embedding samples in wax blocks, and processing them using tissue dehydration machines. Additionally, the technician will perform routine sectioning of both paraffin and frozen specimens. The role also involves executing a variety of staining techniques, including immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), to support the lab's research goals. Candidates should ideally have a strong background in pathological specimen preparation, including experience with sectioning and staining techniques. Familiarity with operating laboratory equipment, such as tissue dehydration machines, is highly desirable. Soft skill includes strong attention to details and excellent communication skills in English language.The lab is located at the newly built institute for Regenerative Biology and Medicine, Chinese Institutes for medical Research.
