Product Developer (Leather Handbags/SLG)

Job Responsibilities –
• Working closely with design teams, factories and suppliers to develop collections of leather handbags and small leather goods from concept to samples
• Following up production and delivery schedules of development, proto and salesman samples to ensure timely deliveries and quality samples
• Checking standards, colors, construction and quality of samples in all stages to ensure alignment of colors and standards of the collection
• Inspecting sample leather when required
• Providing technical advice to resolve any issues relating to product development and sampling
• Performing ad hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements –
• No less than 8 years’ experience of product development of branded leather handbags and small leather goods
• Experience of working directly with overseas designers for product development execution
• Excellent technical knowledge of construction and production process of leather fashion handbags and small leather goods
• Good knowledge of materials including leather,PU, trims and hardware, etc
• Familiar with fashion trends of handbags and small leather goods
• Good eyes to colors and follow through details
• Good communication skills, well organized and a team player
• Good command of English and Chinese
• Travelling to factories & suppliers required
