Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher

Plan, deliver, and differentiate instruction in literacy (reading, writing, phonics, language arts), mathematics, science, cultural studies, and technology integration, following the USA-based QSI curriculum.
Implement mastery learning principles: ensure students achieve proficiency through personalized pacing, re-teaching as needed, reassessment, and data-driven adjustments.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports academic, social-emotional, and character development aligned with QSI Success Orientations.
Assess student progress using multiple measures (formative/summative assessments, observations, projects); provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate closely with the paraprofessional to maximize student support, differentiate instruction, and manage daily classroom routines.
Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, reports, newsletters, and meetings to build strong home-school partnerships.
Work collaboratively with grade-level teams, specialists, administrators, and colleagues to support school-wide goals and student success.
Integrate technology effectively to enhance learning and promote digital literacy.
Participate in ongoing professional development, faculty meetings, school events, and supervision duties (e.g., recess, arrival/dismissal).
Contribute to a caring school community by modeling respect, responsibility, and global awareness.
