Greif is a leading global producer of industrial packaging products with more than 140 manufacturing located in over 40 countries to industries such as chemicals, paints and pigments, food and beverage, petroleum, industrial coatings, agricultural, pharmaceutical and mineral among others. The Company offers a comprehensive line of industrial packaging products such as steel, fibre and plastic drums, intermediate bulk container, closure systems for industrial packaging products, and polycarbonate water bottle, which are complemented with a variety of value-added services.

The Company also produces containerboard and corrugated products for niche markets in the US and Canada. The Company sells timber to third parties from its timberland in the south eastern United States that it manages to maximize long term value. The Company's customers range from Fortune 500 companies to medium and small size companies in a cross section of industries.

Greif's dated back to 1877 and made its first venture into in China1993 in Ningbo (Zhejiang Province). The second manufacturing facility was established in Taicang (Jaingsu Province) in 2003. The Company is in the process of setting two more new facilities in Shanghai and Huizhou (Guangdong) to strengthen its presence in China, the continent that has enormous potential to growth Greif's business.
