The first local packaging production plant was set up in the Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province and started operations in 2004 on a 60,000 square meter site. In 2010, SIG Combibloc opened a new filler assembly center in Suzhou, another great step forward in its commitment to China market. Up till now, SIG Combibloc's cumulative investment in China has exceeded 1 billion RMB, achieving annual capacity of 8 billion packages.

Today, SIG Combibloc China is proud to count leading juice and dairy products manufacturers among its strategic partners. Supported by two offices in Shanghai and Beijing, SIG Combibloc China provides customers in the entire country with its complete range of optimum services including marketing, sales and technical support.

SIG Combibloc is part of the canadian-based private equity company Onex Corporation.
