A.Smit& Zoon BV. founded in 1821 and registered in the Netherlands, is a manufacturer of chemical specialties for leather applicantions.
The demands for leather product are in the fields of indoor decorations (Furniture), garments, shoes and bags are gardually increasing, especially the demands of domestic leather like emulated leather sofas. Besides, due to the continual pervasion of cars, the market of emulated leather products is also increasing.
It therefore was decided to invest and build a production facility in China, and to expand its manufacturing capability. The chemical plant will produce high quality leather chemicals in relatively large scale and high techniques for local tanneries.
