Xi’an AVIC Hamilton Sundstrand Aviation Electric Company, Ltd, a world class aerospace company of Electric Power Systems for large commercial aircraft, is a Joint Venture to be established between Collins and Shaanxi Aero Electric Company. The JV, complete aerospace business with engineering, manufacturing and customer service, will be capable of providing Tier 1 Electric Power Systems to aircraft manufacturers and will be a center of excellence for aircraft Electric Power Distribution Systems. It will be located in Xi’an, China and is building a new 5000 m2 facility in Export Processing Zone B of the Xian High Technology Zone.
