Global Castings (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was officially established in 2013, a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Castings Holdings Limited which is German industrial VTC group invested in Denmark. Global Castings is part of VTC which is a fast growing and independent industrial holding company. VTC currently owns five portfolio companies with a consolidated turnover of around EUR 650 million and more than 5,200 employees and was founded in 1992.

Global Castings is a leading component supplier for the wind turbine industry. The company is specialized in the serial production of large cast products for the on- and off-shore markets incl. CNC-machining and metal finishing as well as subassembly offerings according to customer specifications. The international footprint with three foundries and three surface treatment facilities in Europe and China is ideally positioned to serve its customers worldwide.

We develop new concepts and technologies for the benefit of our customers and the environment, contributing to the sustainable growth of the wind energy sector. With our 1,100 employees, we generated sales of €155 Mio. in 2017.

The production facilities of Global Castings (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was established by Vestas in 2008, started operations in 2009 and was further extended in 2011. The high performing equipment and standardized operating procedures ensures the uniform quality and stable deliveries, still allowing a high degree of flexibility. Facilities and equipment being at the highest technical level as well as staff is highly qualified and dedicated to customer satisfaction.
