Wheelock Preschool is the provider of high-quality early childhood education for children 6months-6years old. Our child-centered programs are based on the philosophy of love and respect .We provide a rich and nurturing learning environment tailored to the needs of each individual child. We inspire children to develop a love of learning that will continue to grow with them throughout their lifetime.

Play is the work of children!

At Wheelock preschool ,Children learn best with play-based lesson plans. As children play, they learn about the world. The classrooms are organized into interest areas and age-mixed that promote hands-on, child-initiated, and open-ended exploration and is therefore able to offer a unique high-quality early childhood experience to our children. We inspire children to play learn and grow together!

热爱游戏是每一个孩子的天性，也是孩子最重要的学习方式！儿童通过各种游戏活动认知自我，认知世界，获得丰富的经验。惠洛克儿童之家的教室里设置了各种有趣的学习区域和丰富的玩教具，吸引儿童自主游戏和开放探索。班级采用先进的混龄教育模式，让孩子们一起游戏，相互学习，共同成长！

2. The purpose of education:

Preschool years are the foundation for his or her future development. We strive to provide an inclusive environment that fulfills each child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs appropriate to their age and stage of development. Through these goals and beliefs, we can help children build a strong foundation for their bright future.

我们深知0-6岁的幼儿园阶段是人类成长的黄金时期，人类大脑的95%的发展是在儿童时期完成，所以儿童早期教育将影响孩子的未来！惠洛克的教育目标是为不同阶段的儿童提供适宜的成长环境支持孩子的身体、社交、认知、创造力等全面发展，为孩子一生的幸福奠定人生基础！

3.The role of the teacher and parent :

Teachers and parents work with children as Observer, facilitator and guide!

The teacher plays a critical role by being the child’s partner, Our teachers act as facilitators of play, promoting positive interactions with peers, and offering gentle guidance when necessary.They strive to provide

a safe, nurturing, accepting, environment which encourages spontaneous play and fosters self-esteem. In order to further the learning process, teachers listen, observe, inquire, document, work together and reflect upon the experiences of children.. We value open and honest communication and recognize the importance of working with parents to support children learning.

我们的老师和家长是孩子们朝夕相处的伙伴，在儿童的成长过程中扮演着至关重要的角色！所以我们首先要学会观察儿童，倾听儿童、接纳儿童、追随儿童、引导并支持孩子成长的每一个环节！老师和家长更要通力合作、开放交流，共同关爱孩子的成长。
