Electrical Engineer

Reporting to:
Senior Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
●
Simulation, components dimensioning, selection, new components qualification of converters and its electrical system, including frequency converters, energy storage converters or PV inverters, etc.
●
Design of new and improved electrical system, including electrical drawings and BoM preparation, configuration and iteration based on needs.
●
Analyze the performance of the existing electrical system, identify areas for improvement and alternative solutions.
●
Preparing test specification for the single component qualification and whole electrical system test; performing electrical tests together with other person; analyze the test results, propose improvement proposals and implement the agreed improvements accordingly.
●
Support internal and external customers on technical challenges. Especially technical support for SCM regarding to communication with suppliers, and production lines regarding assembly and testing in R&D phase.
●
Work as a friendly and proactive member in R&D organization.
Qualifications for the role
●
Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation or related area, have agile development environment working experience is a plus.
●
A few years’ relevant experience. Especialy experience with frequency converters, energy storage concerters, PV inverters or similar products that use power electronics components, experience on system design is a plus.
●
Knowledge of the electrical design, including electrical installations and AC/DC grid phenomenon simulations.
●
Familiar with functional safety, simulation tools such as ANSYS Simplorer and database-based design tools such as EPLAN.
●
Knowledge on testing and certification related work in low voltage system, related actual experience is a plus.
●
Knowledge on reliability design related work in LV power electronics related products, actual experience is a plus.
●
Familiar with testing and corresponding testing instruments.
●
Langudge: Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Native speaking in Chinese, fluent in English; familiare with Spanish is a big plus.
●
Excellent cooperation, organizational, and analytical skills, work well as part of a team and have the ability to perceive the big picture. Positive attitude and a team player.
