Senior Chemist, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry(007267)

Main Tasks:
- Under general supervision from lab leader, independently perform LC-MS and GC-MS analysis tasks
- Analyze, interpret results and prepare technical reports.
- Prepare, run and maintain chromatography and mass spectrometry equipment.
- Capable of communicate with internal partners for the understanding of their analytical needs and result interpretation
- Ability to organize tasks and set priorities to ensure timely data delivery to customer
- Develop technical solutions using existing and new technologies, methods
- Continuously observe, analyze and assess scientific and technical trends in analytics
- Perform general lab assignments (e.g. chemical inventory and lab house-keeping) as assigned.
- EHS Awareness and Data & IP Security Awareness

Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry or analytical sciences
- At least 5 years’ experience of conducting chromatography and mass spectrometry experiment; Extensive hands-on practice on LC-MS, GC-MS, pyrolysis/GC-MS, MALDI-TOF, etc.
- Experience with interpretation of MS data for structural elucidation is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience on UPLC-qTOF or orbitrap is desirable
- Understanding of polymer materials and sample preparation for chromatographic analysis
- Good English and Chinese skills
