Responsibilities:
1. Build, develop and lead a sales team to drive New and Renew sales in East China for Wolters Kluwer’s renowned Clinical Decision Support platform (UpToDate).
2. Drive sales with the team and distributors through a hands-on approach, spending significant time in the field with customers and sales reps.
3. Develop plans and strategies to promote the success of the field sales function by accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales to meet or exceed regional sales quotas.
4. Direct the work effort of field sales reps by setting strategy, assigning territories, and setting goals.
5. Manage direct field activities in following strategic business plans to identify prospective customers as well as maintain existing customer base.
6. Ensure field sales team enter and maintain all account and prospecting activities into sales database (SFDC) to keep database current.
7. Motivate and mentor the sales staff, train new sales people, and conduct performance management including development planning.
8. Manage all established sales processes, drive compliance and further professionalize the sales organization while developing a culture of continued process improvement and sales excellence.
9. Maintain, develop and strengthen excellent collaboration with the other members of the sales team and other groups in the company such as Marketing, Technology Product Management, Content Management, Pricing, Technical and Customer Support
Qualifications:
Bachelor or above degree from a prestigious university, preferably in medical related disciplines
Minimum of 10-year hospital sales experience in multinational healthcare companies, e.g. medical device, equipment or pharmaceutical
Minimum of 4-year sales team management experience, with a proven track record of building and retaining highly successful sales teams
Skillful in sourcing, managing and motivating distributors
Solid hospital customer engagement approach
Fluent in English and Chinese
