What Tax Analyst will do
1. Assist to manage the day-to-day income tax compliance including tax return filing, tax provision, external and internal reporting for all assigned legal entities.
2. Work on managing income tax accounts and related reconciliations on day-to-day basis to ensure accuracy of tax returns and financial book.
3. Assist in dealing with tax authorities’ queries as well as assessments and tax audits in direct tax area.
4. Practically assist to communicate and gather information from ERP or other functions for tax compliance purpose.
5. Support tax manager to provide advice to the business and supporting functions on financial and tax operational issues.
6. Assist on tax projects/automation tool implementation.
General requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience
o Min 2 years’ tax working experience. Overseas tax experience is a plus
o CPA/ACCA/CTA or progress toward certification is a plus
o Thorough knowledge of tax theory and its application in practice
o Proven ability to prepare tax account analysis and reconcile tax accounts
o Computer competency (SAP, One Stream, BAAN) knowledge
o Fluent in English is a must, oral and written
o Ability to work well in independently and work well in a team setting
