Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of BAS (Building Automation System) products. Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible E2E system test of BAS control system.
• Design Test strategies, test plans. Tracking and updated per project milestones
• Design/Optimize/Execute test case which break down from user stories, test founding, and requires from different stakeholders.
• Design test case of robust, performance, compatibility & reliability related
• System testing, Integration testing and Regression testing, test environment setup. Drive issues/CRs resolution with key stakeholders
• Automation testing design and testing. Lead automated testing for complex scenarios: cross-system interfaces, protocol compatibility (BACnet/Modbus/KNX)
• Analyze test data, generate reports and provide technical recommendations
• Create/Update/Maintenance quality page of techs, manuals and guidance related

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Automation or related field
• 5+ years system testing experience, 3+ years in building automation/IoT
• Be familiar with V mode, Agile, CI/CD concept. etc
• Master the usage of Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence or Miro tools
• Strongly quality concept like baseline, traceability, quality gate. Etc
• Have the test experience both on Software such as Web GUI, Application and Hardware such as Controller/Device/IO
• Proficient in test automation development, master at least 1 of the coding language: C, C++, Labview/CVI, Python, Java, C# .Etc. At least 1 successful automation test bench design and coding.
• Strong knowledge of BAS architecture and protocols (BACnet/Modbus/KNX)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
