In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Project Leadership:

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, commissioning and handover
• Translate program/portfolio objectives into project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (User team, Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Finance) and external partners (design institutes, contractors, suppliers, consultants)

Scope, Schedule, Cost & Quality Management

• Control scope, schedule, cost and quality to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to specifications
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and drive mitigation and recovery plans where needed
• Ensure facilities are built to meet GMP-related requirements and other applicable industry and regulatory standards

Site Coordination and Interface Management

• Work closely with the Site Construction Manager, Construction Quality Engineer and EHS Engineer to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality execution on site
• Manage interfaces between civil, architectural, utilities, process equipment, HVAC and cleanroom works
• Support commissioning, start-up and handover to end users and operations teams

Communication & Reporting

• Organize and lead regular project meetings (internal and with contractors), follow up on actions and decisions
• Prepare project status reports (progress, cost, risk, EHS, quality) for the Program manager and senior management
• Escalate major deviations and propose solution options in a timely manner

To succeed you must hold:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (e.g. Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Pharmaceutical Engineering, Project Management or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial projects, with preference for food, pharmaceutical, biotech or clean/regulated facilities
• Experience working on multicultural project sites is a preferred.
• Familiar with fermentation, recovery, spay dry, and packaging etc. process is preferred.
• Solid understanding of project management processes (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, stakeholder management)
• Familiarity with GMP-related facility requirements and industrial construction/installation practices
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple parties and resolve conflicts
• Good problem-solving ability
• English proficiency suitable for daily management, technical and commercial communication, and reporting; additional local language skills at the project location are a plus
