Objective of Job
1. General Responsibilities
• Lead the section for MBOS digital testing platform.
• Design the digital testing platform strategy in alignment with MBOS development and release strategy.
• Develop and implement the digital testing platform with a focus on stakeholder interests (customer-oriented and project-focused) to enhance efficiency in time, quality, and cost.
• Maintain and manage resources using data-driven approaches.
• Leverage AI technology to empower the digital testing platform toolchain.
• Drive technological innovation in digital testing at MB to reach industry benchmark levels.
• Develop core supplier strategies for platform development and maintenance.
2. Cross-Team Coordination
• Align with other RDC departments regarding digital testing platform requirements.
• Collaborate with global RD teams on digital testing platform development.
3. Task Management
• Monitor work status and progress, making day-to-day adjustments according to established priorities, and seek assistance from the Supervisor as needed.
• Estimate and report expected completion times for tasks and maintain accurate work records.
• Distribute and balance workloads among team members, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
4. People Supervision & Team Development
• Assist the Supervisor with daily people management tasks, including but not limited to recruitment, attendance and leave management, goal setting, appraisal, and feedback processes.
• Provide performance coaching and feedback to team members as needed.
• Report to the Supervisor on team members’ performance, progression, training needs, and disciplinary issues.
• Support the Supervisor in following up on employee survey results and team-building activities.
5. Training and Coaching Team Members
• Instruct team members on tasks and job techniques, providing written instructions and reference materials as needed.
• Deliver on-the-job training to new team members.
• Enhance team know-how by answering questions regarding procedures, policies, and directives.
6. The position could be located in Beijing or Shanghai.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science, AI technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of working experience in ADAS or telematics digital testing platform development or related areas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in team leadership.
• Experience with product development processes and development cycles.
• In-depth knowledge of digital testing platform development and management.
• Familiarity with ADAS and telematics development, testing, and validation processes, including both manual and automated testing.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Team player with an open-minded attitude and adaptability to new situations.
• Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English (German is a plus).
