1. Develop and adjust testing conditions in vehicle level across Telematics & ADAS & Comfort E/E domains to accommodate China specific environment and requirements
• Develop testing procedures across Telematics & ADAS & Comfort E/E domains to meet major use cases in China to evaluate and approve overall vehicle quality and performance.
• Distinguish most harming and customer related user cases based on field researches, customer observation and feedback of component responsible engineers in RD in order to design tailored systematic testing procedures
2. Testing vehicle planning and preparation
• Define the testing vehicle amount and variant based on the feature offering logic.
• Ensure the testing vehicle retrofit to target SW and HW according the target sheet.
• Support retrofit trouble shooting together with workshop and BTVs.
• Monitor and ensure the testing vehicle preparation timeline and quality.
• Responsible for the testing vehicle usage based on the testing need.
3. Plan and conduct overall E/E testing in China
• Define the testing plan in accordance with project milestones
• Organize EEKL and EE intensive testing event.
• Conduct overall vehicle EEKL and intensive to validate the Telematics & ADAS & Comfort E/E function maturity and create tickets to documents the testing findings.
• Generate testing summary report and make the transparency to management level.
4. Failure analysis with proper tooling to find out root causes, tracking the issue solving process and make the documentation.
• Analysis the issue potential root causes based on the traces in collaboration with function owners and component developers.
• Tracking the issue solving process and ensure the tickets close in time.
• Make proper documentation of any issue findings in systems accordingly
• Report the updated failure solving status at issue tracking platforms
5. Team internal support, support testing engineer other test related work
1. Education
• Bachlor degree or above in electrical engineering,computer science or vehicle engineering
2. Experience
• 5+ years EE development or testing working experience at OEMs or suppliers.
• Test leader experience to manage test case development, test plan, perform test & cross steer project in SW test perspective;
• Ability to understand software and hardware requirements, vehicle architectures and testing methodologies
• Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing software bugs;
• Be able to generate test cases with good quality by given specification
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-responsible, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
3. Specific Knowledge
• Solid knowledge of vehicle CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet and EE architecture.
• Experienced diagnose skills, good at trace analysis, familiar to use CANoe or CANanalyzer.
• Solid knowledge of vehicle architectures, network technologies and communication mechanisms
• Good driving skills with valid Chinese driving license.
• Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Fluent Chinese and English language skills and capable to work in multi-cultural environment
• Willingness to travel inside China and abroad on test drives
