APU Manager

POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible to produce the customers’ demands on his product families, with the processes, the people and the spending budgets assigned to the APU.
Continuously improve: Safety at Work, People Empowerment, Quality, On Time Delivery, Flexibility, Labor Efficiency and Machine Utilization.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:
? Adjust the cells manning weekly after the Master Production Schedule Meeting, based on customers’ demands evolution
? Track a set of APU KPIs and compare them monthly to targets
? Build and follow up a Lean workshops plan aiming to close the gaps to his KPIs targets
? Support the Lean workshops by validating the decisions and assigning the needed resources
? Take part daily to all management routines alternatively, to make sure they are run efficiently in a quick response control attitude
? Make sure APU support function people contribute to the continuous improvement process
? Control the spending on each APU budget line
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
? Bachelor degree in Engineering.
? A minimum of 10 years experience in production.
? Previous experience in connector manufacturing is preferrable.
? Knowledge of ISO9001/ ISO14001
? Good communication and training ability
? Technical knowledge on products and processes involved in the APU
? Lean manufacturing and People Empowerment tools knowledge
? English communication and computer application.
