We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- To ensure project reporting to the Management is provided in a timely manner and according to defined standards and quality.
- To quality assess project status reporting including, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
- Ensure consistent adoption and adherence of HSBC Tools, Standards and Processes, via monitoring, providing guidance, direction, training and support.
- Manage relationships with all key business and IT stakeholders.
- To actively manage and resolve any ad-hoc queries received from the business team.
- Manage and coordinate financials for both governed and sell-out projects using the monthly billing process and reviewing issues across people, SW, HW and consultancy cost expenditure. Utilizing internal financials/resourcing tools, i.e. GPDM, Pioneer.
- To provide support to the wider Project Manager Team, typically including the communications, collaboration, learning & sharing initiatives, Diversity & Inclusion.
- Work closely with business and IT teams on various projects and support items, coordinate among business/IT and regional delivery teams.
- Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.
- End to end accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate Technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey
- Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data.
- Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
- Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team,
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
- Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
- Provide outstanding technical expertise, knowledge and ability with the capacity for original thinking in the design and development of effective systems solutions.
- Accountability to ensure that faults in production systems services are corrected in a timely manner with minimal disruption.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Knowledge
- Proven experience in IT project management, IT business analysis, development management, testing management, production support.
- Strong understanding of IT project management, software development and the ability to work with multiple IT teams and business.
Experience
- Experience in vendor management and the ability to collaborate on improvement plans.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflicts and risks effectively.
- Strong risk awareness with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Solid understanding of IT software, hardware, networks, and operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-   Proven experience in user requirement management in an IT environment.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to translate business needs into clear and concise technical requirements.
-   Experience with requirement tracking tools and benefit realization frameworks.
-   Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles.
-   Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
