Electrical Engineer(Controls)

Basic Function / General Description:
• Electrical design activities from concept to product release for elevator controller
• On-site support for product debugging and qualification base on Otis standard
Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:
As an electrical engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Develop product concept with pros/cons analysis
• Demonstrate design with MASC (modeling/analysis/simulation/calculation)
• Design of elevator components (controllers, modules, etc)
• Develop and execute the test plan
• Verify/qualify the design
• Documentation of engineering works according to Otis product development process (e.g.: requirement, drawings, test reports, user’s manuals etc)
• Coordinate with other function to ensure program success
• Perform other duties as assigned and requested
Work experience & skills requirements:
• Experience:
o Minimum 3 years of design experience with Master’s degree or 5 years with Bachelor’s degree preferred
o Working experience in global company preferred
• Language:
o CET-4 and above. Good in written and oral English preferred.
• Computer Skills:
o E3 tool for wiring diagram
o Microsoft office tool set
