Dimensional Engineers:
1. Work as VWA on site engineer to support VWA to deal with quality problems in body shop and optimize the FM of the ZSB and body-in-white (BIW); Analyze the causes of body and assembly matching issues in launch and series phase, determine and implement short-term/rework and long-term solutions to ensure to achieve quality goals.
2. Responsible for quality related actions, include but not limited in:
a) on-site dimensional commissioning problem confirmation and solve.
b) quality issue communication and reporting.
c) quality issue analysis and output analysis reports or problem sheet.
d) communicate with responsible department and push the implementation of the countermeasures.
e) track the feedback of improvement, etc.;
3. Independently or assist VWA to improve the dimension qualified rate of the ZSB and BIW:
a) Analysis the AK and dimension stability of the ZSB and BIW and define the solution
b) Check the positioning concept of the fixture and give out the improvement plan.
c) Check the welding process and give out the improvement plan.
d) Guarantee the dimension qualified rate of the BIW and ZSB achievement for each launch phase.
e) AMB/FMB problem analysis and define countermeasures.
4. Finish the other work (delivery part to some internal destination, make sample parts for analysis, assist parts measurement for analysis.).
5. According to the quality control needs of the factory, monitor matching issues, develop measures, and reduce and prevent a series of problems. According to
Bemousterungs requirements, conduct assembly trial assembly (EBV) and first batch matching quality for CP5 and CP7 parts and components.
6. Follow the arrangement of leader and finish other tasks assigned by leaders on time.
Qualification and skills:
1. Bachelor's degree or above (automotive or mechanical related )
2. Over 8 years working experience in Body-in-white dimension optimization in launch process in automotive industry. The whole of experience for more than 4 launch projects in VW (include VWA, SVW and FAW).
3. Full experience for the VW launch project process and the work content of each time point.
4. Full experience for AMB&FMB process.
5. Full experience for optimization of Aluminum and steel parts Dimensions
6. Bilingual in Chinese and English Written and spoken.
7. Familiar with various measurement tools.
8. Skilled use MS Office.
9. Basic quality management knowledge and ability (8D, FTA, etc.) and Basic knowledge of processes (Injection, stamping, assembly, etc.).
10. Good analysis and judgment skills, good sense of responsibility, execution, communication and coordination skills and work under pressure.
11. If the engineer fails to complete the work in time due to its own reasons, overtime is necessary and won’t be compensated.
