Key Responsibilities:
• Review and process supplier invoices while ensuring compliance with Chinese tax regulations and company policies. Liaise with suppliers for any necessary amendments, adjustments and clarifications as needed.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate reconciliation of transactions.
• Liaise with suppliers for any necessary amendments, adjustments, or clarifications on invoices. This is already updated in 1st point
• Track and monitor project costs, working closely with the Cost Controller to ensure proper cost allocation and reporting.
• Support monthly financial closing by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, working in coordination with the Singapore Accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with Chinese tax laws, including VAT and corporate income tax, and manage timely filings and reporting to regulatory authorities.
• Assist in financial statement preparation, audits, and financial compliance matters while identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities during financial audits and
regulatory inspections.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc financial projects.
• Support local management in miscellaneous projects and ad-hoc business needs
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational corporation or corporate finance setting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Chinese financial regulations, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as IFS or SAP is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English to coordinate with local and international teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effect
