MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cooperation in transposing customer-specific requirements into AL target specifications, with particular regard to manufacturing and inspection capability at Automotive Lighting and along the entire supply chain.
- Compilation and monitoring of a project-specific QM plan on the basis of CP 300 in agreement with the Project Manager.
- Monitoring implementation of product, process and project-related quality requirements.
- Cooperation and assessment of Gate Review in the project team.
- Comprehensive quality work within the project, for example:
- Active participation in the concept release taking into consideration lessons learned from predecessor
- projects.
- Cooperation in risk analyses ( e.g. FMEA).
- Cooperation in the control plan (prototype, pilot series and series).
- Assessment of development and test planning for product and process development.
- Cooperation in the stipulation of special characteristics.
- Compilation of test plans for Quality Assurance.
- Planning the required measuring and monitoring equipment for Quality Assurance including its
- validation and release both internally and vis a vis the customer.
- Determination of limiting samples for visual defects.
- Analysis of dimensional measurement results for the achievement of dimensional stability.
- Planning and execution of preventive quality assurance with customers and suppliers.
- Initial release of parts, products and processes CP 518.
- Coordination and presentation at customer quality audits.
- Compilation of reports, analyses and statistics PPF (initial sample report), ISIR, PSW, PPAP,
- Quality responsibility for samples supplied to the customer up until SOP. Compilation of sample test reports to the extent required by the customer, where applicable clarification of non-conformance in agreement with Model Building and the Project Manager.
- Monitoring all new projects occurring in the plant and proactive advice to project teams and management regarding possible project, product or procedure-related risks.
- Active notification of affected functions regarding possible risks.
- Participation in weekly meetings for new projects.
- Participation in customer and supplier quality meetings.
- Processing of quality complaints, analyses and statements through to SOP.
- Coordination of project tasks in linear organization.
- Planning and control of project handover from QMP to QMO (launch phase).
- Participating if required in approval for new suppliers.
- Participating if required in process audits on suppliers’ premises.
- Planning and execution of audits (customer, internal etc.).
- Planning and further development of metrology in the plant.
- Cooperation in the centrally controlled metrology working group.
- Further development of measuring and monitoring technology in production processes.
- Planning and supervision of measuring and monitoring devices in the plant.
- Execution of dimensional accuracy tests with 3D metrology systems for product audits.
- Proposal and objection entitlement in all quality-related questions.
- Initiation of internal technical complaints and quarantining non-conforming products up to SOP.
- Definition of product quality with customers and suppliers.
- Initial release of internal and external production material and production processes within the scope of project work.
- Assessment / agreement of product / process FMEAs as regards their formally correct application.
- Release of the control plan.
- Submission of test reports (e.g. PPF, PSW) to the customer
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Bachelor Degree with Engineering Majors
LANGUAGES: Good command of Oral & Written English
EXPERIENCES:
- At least 3 years experiences in vehicle industry and 3 years working in
quality field Engineering or technical graduate - General and specific customer quality requirements (e.g. ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001,QS9000, ISO 14001,
- VDA 6, ANIFA, knowledge of the QS9000 series QMSA, SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP etc.).
- Training as process auditor to VDA 6.3
- Application of statistical techniques such as SPC
