职位描述
· Perform tests to check quality of components and products as part of the plant operation.
·Take an active role in the Lab and work towards achieving the Lab's annual goals.
. Raise LIMS/SAP Tickets and work with the GSG(Global Solution Group) to resolve issues onStarLIMS/SAP issues.
. Take part in the Galvanized project commissioningand start-up, including the procedure and testing plan.
· Practice High Performance Organization conceptsat work.
· Practice the best housekeeping of the laboratory.. Maintain and trouble shoot analytical equipment· Diagnose the bad analytical test outputs andtrouble shoot analytical equipment to rectify theproblem(s).
· Provide fixing solution to off-test plant blendsduring after-office hours and weekend days.· Involve in the trouble shooting of process plants byanalyzing non-routine samples.
Train new laboratory Technicians on new testmethods and calibration procedures & non-routinetest methods.
. Manage the chemical inventory in the laboratory inaccordance with government and company safetyrequirements
· Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
· Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from a recognizedUniversity with more than 2 years of experience inanalytical testing of an Oil/ Petroleum/ Petrochemicalor Lubricant Additives Manufacturing facility.· Strong knowledge in Analytical Chemistry withoperating knowledge of laboratory instruments suchas ICP, FTIR, CHN Analyzers, Auto-titrators, Foamingtests, Viscometer, etc.· A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Petroleum TestingMethods and familiar in ASTM, IP and APHA Testmethods
· Able to work in a cross-functional environment. Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenin English and Mandarin.
