Key Responsibilities
主要职责

1. Shop Drawings & Design Inspection 1. 施工图与设计检查

• Plan Reviews for Technical Accuracy: Critically examine current product structural designs, connection details, framing member sizes, and bracing specifications prior to fabrication to ensure compliance with relevant US/Canadian building codes and LGS design standards (e.g., AISI standards).

• Plan Reviews for Product Alignment and Accuracy: Evaluate and review LGS fabrication and panelization shop drawings for completeness and conformance to the approved modular designs issued for production.

• Must have experience redlining and reviewing LGS framing shop drawings.

• Verification Raw Material Inspection: Assist in inspection of incoming galvanized sheet steel coils or cut lengths for gauge, coating weight, and material specification compliance.

2. Process Optimization & Training 2. 流程优化与培训

• Process Mapping: Review and revise the current workflow for LGS fabrication, panel assembly, component fastening, and quality control.

• Suggest improvements or efficiencies where necessary, focusing on waste reduction and panel accuracy/squareness.

• Techniques & Equipment: Evaluate existing cold-forming equipment, tooling, fasteners (e.g., screws, welds), and worker techniques in use for cutting, punching, roll-forming, and panel assembly.

• Recommend specific upgrades, additions, training, or modifications to improve process efficiency and consistency.

• Training and Mentorship: Lead hands-on and classroom training sessions for the LGS teams on code requirements, best practice framing techniques, proper fastening schedules, and quality standards for structural members.

3. Quality Assurance & Standards Development 3. 质量保证与标准制定

• Quality Control (QC) Program: Review and enhance the current QC Inspection and Testing Plans, project quality criteria, and LGS fabrication and framing quality control documentation processes.

• This must include dimension verification, fastener inspection, squareness checks, and panel rigidity testing.

• Defect Root Cause Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot common LGS defects such as incorrect framing dimensions, improper screw installation (e.g., over-tightening/stripping), or alignment issues, and develop preventative measures or appropriate repair procedures.

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop clear, visual, and concise SOPs for all critical steps in LGS component production, wall panel assembly, and quality control where these SOPs don’t already exist in the company system.

Qualifications
资格要求

• Nationality/Residency: Chinese.
  
• 国籍/居住地： 中国籍。
  
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in light gauge steel framing or cold-formed steel construction, with a focus on commercial or modular panelized systems.
  
• 经验： 至少 3 年轻钢框架或冷弯型钢建筑的实践经验，重点是商业或模块化墙板系统。
  
• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Deep knowledge of governing US/Canadian building codes and LGS standards (e.g., IBC, NBCC, AISI) and their implementation during factory fabrication.
  • 深入了解美国/加拿大现行建筑规范和 LGS 标准（例如，IBC、NBCC、AISI）及其在工厂制造期间的实施。
  • Professional certification or proven expertise in structural inspection or cold-formed steel technology is highly sought after.

  • Experience or qualification with AISI, CSSBI, or ISO structural codes and standards will be strongly considered.

• Modular/Factory Experience (Preferred): Experience working on modular, prefabricated, or production-line LGS construction projects is a significant asset.

• Training & Communication: Proven ability to effectively train, mentor, and communicate technical information to diverse multi-lingual teams.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to be on a factory floor for extended periods, including climbing stairs/ladders and withstanding production-line environments as required.

Compensation and Logistics

• Contract Duration: 1 year.
