Responsibilities
• Understand WDF’s domain: experimental splits, FOMs, wafers/lots, test flows, and process development.
• Design and implement interactive D3.js-based visualizations for trends, correlations, outliers, and parameter filtering, and wafer-level overlays.
• Develop statistical analysis workflows (e.g., median aggregation, boxplots, dual-axis plots) to support cycle-level evaluation of device behavior.
• Collaborate with users (device engineers, data analysts) to identify high-impact visualization needs.
• Build and maintain data preprocessing pipelines: organize raw test directories into structured hierarchies (LOT / category / coordinates), ensure metadata–raw pairing, and automate file filtering.
• Prototype dashboards and UX wireframes that guide the product team’s iterative development.
• Support data structuring and preprocessing to feed clean inputs into the visual layers.
Ideal Background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s student in one of the following:
o Data Science / Applied Mathematics
o Computer Science with a focus on visualization
o Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or Microelectronics with coding/data experience
Skills Required
• Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing or testing workflows, especially around wafer-level data or experimental split design.
• Experience with data visualization libraries such as:
o D3.js (preferred)
o Plotly.js, ECharts, or Vega
• Familiarity with statistical methods (e.g., correlation analysis, box plots, trend detection)
• Proficient in JavaScript and basic front-end development (HTML/CSS)
• Optional: familiarity with Python/pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, or Spotfire
Bonus
• Prior internship or coursework involving semiconductor R&D data
• Fluent in both technical English and Mandarin
