Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Data Analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for their professional development.
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring timely and quality delivery of data analysis projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Analyze, profile, and interpret complex datasets to derive actionable insights that support business decisions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Matillion ETL to ensure data integrity
and accessibility. - Clean and transform raw data into meaningful formats for analysis.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services to visualize data trends and patterns.
- Design, engineer, and build scalable data models and ETL/ELT pipelines to maintain data infrastructure.
- Work within an Agile environment, utilizing tools such as JIRA for project
management and collaboration. - Utilize Snowflake for data storage and management, ensuring efficient data
retrieval and processing.
- Proven experience in people management and project management.
- Extensive experience in data analysis, with skills equal to or exceeding those of the Data Analysts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Proficient in SQL and Excel; experience with Python is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of data profiling and
analysis. - Demonstrated experience in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, PowerPivot, and Power Query.
- Familiarity with data repositories, specifically Snowflake, and ETL tools like
Matillion. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment and manage multiple
priorities. - Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical
stakeholders.
