Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Roadmap Management
• Own the platform roadmap, release planning, prioritisation, and backlog grooming.
• Align roadmap with business strategy, organisational goals, and transformation initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear epics, features, and user stories with acceptance
criteria.
• Work with internal teams and external vendor to plan upgrades, new modules, and
enhancements.
• Maintain a long-term vision and capability roadmap.
Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
• Engage stakeholders across business, operations, and internal functions to gather
requirements and/or pain points.
• Convert business requirements into functional requirements, process flows, and
configuration specifications.
• Evaluate new feature requests, assess feasibility, and propose optimal configurations or
system workflows.
• Ensure solutions follow best practices, standardisation, and future scalability.
System Configuration, Testing & Deployment
• Oversee system configuration, validation, and implementation of new functionalities.
• Manage UAT planning and execution across business teams.
• Ensure proper documentation for configurations, changes, test scripts, and release notes.
• Coordinate with IT for technical activities such as SSO setup, API integrations, data
migration, and environment refreshes.
Integration & Data Governance
• Own integration requirements between the SaaS platform and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure data integrity, security, access controls, and compliance with internal and externa policies.
• Define and enforce data governance standards for employee lifecycle processes.
Vendor, Release & Issue Management
• Act as the primary liaison with external vendor for enhancements, issues, SLAs, and
escalations.
• Review vendor proposals, effort estimates, and change requests.
• Manage monthly releases, patches, and major version upgrades.
• Track and close incidents, defects, and service requests according to ITSM priorities (P1–
P4).
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
• Communicate product updates, changes, release notes, and timelines to stakeholders.

• Conduct training, demos, onboarding sessions, and knowledge-sharing workshops.
• Support organisational transformation and digitalisation initiatives.
Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Define reporting requirements and KPIs for business and operations.
• Leverage in-app and external analytics, dashboards, and survey capabilities.
• Identify areas for automation, process optimisation, and cross-module alignment.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and performance evaluations of new features.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5-8 years of experience in project logistics, project accounting, MRP operations or related
domain expertise.
• Experience in SaaS product ownership, technology projects, or digital logistics operations. Experience working in a fast-paced, transformation-heavy environment is preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
• Solid understanding of project logistics or MRO preferably in ports, maritime, industrial or
asset-intensive environments
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an enterprise or SaaS
environment
• Strong backlog prioritisation and value-based decision making
• Comfortable collaborating with software architects, engineers, platform and DevOps teams.
No expected to design solutions, however must challenge and validate feasibility
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, SSO, data migration, and basic SQL (bonus).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, change/incident management frameworks.
• Experience with process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).
