SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Regional Security Lead is a key management role within the Global Security organization, responsible for supporting the Regional Head of Security in overseeing security operations across multiple sites and sales offices within the region. This position focuses on ensuring the effective implementation of security strategies, conducting risk assessments, managing physical security measures, responding to security incidents, and supporting anti-counterfeiting efforts. The role also involves conducting investigations and maintaining strong communication with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTION
Security Operations Support:
● Assist the Regional Head of Security in implementing regional security strategies and policies.
● Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments across sites within the region.
● Oversee the day-to-day management of physical security measures, including access control and surveillance systems.
● Ensure compliance with local and international security regulations and company policies.
● Manage and respond to security incidents, coordinating with local authorities and internal stakeholders as necessary.
Anti-Counterfeiting Initiatives:
● Support regional anti-counterfeiting efforts by gathering intelligence on counterfeit activities and identifying potential risks.
● Collaborate with the regional and global security teams to investigate counterfeit cases and implement countermeasures.
● Coordinate with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies to ensure effective enforcement against counterfeit products.
● Maintain records of anti-counterfeiting investigations and provide regular updates to the Regional Head of Security.
Crisis Management:
● Support the Regional Head of Security in developing and maintaining regional crisis management and emergency response plans.
● Assist in coordinating regional responses to security incidents and crises, ensuring timely and effective action.
Stakeholder Engagement:
● Regularly communicate with local law enforcement, security agencies, and other external partners.
● Act as a liaison between the regional security team and site-level security personnel to ensure alignment and consistency in security practices.
● Provide regular updates and reports to the Regional Head of Security on security operations, incident responses, and anti-counterfeiting efforts.
Administrative and Budgetary Responsibilities:
● Assist in managing the regional security budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
● Oversee the procurement and maintenance of security equipment and technologies within the region.
● Maintain accurate records of security incidents, audits, compliance activities, and anti-counterfeiting initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
● A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, security, or a related discipline is preferred.
● Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred.
Experience:
● A minimum of 10 years of experience in a security management role, preferably within a regional or multi-site environment.
● Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, managing physical security operations, responding to security incidents, and supporting anti-counterfeiting initiatives.
● Experience in supervising and developing a team of security professionals.
Skills:
● Good English and Mandarin communication skills (other Asian languages are preferred, such as Japanese, Korean)
● Strong team management skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and security management software.
● Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certifications:
● Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred.
● Driver’s license required.
Work Environment: Office work environment with the need to be present on-site as required.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% of working time within the region, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.
